"I rented a Van and it ended up costing double ($278) vs. the advertised price ($139) when I returned it. I would suggest getting an total estimate before you rent a vehicle. When you return your vehicle the "system" takes over and tacks on additional fees that are not itemized on the bill, and cannot be adequately explained by the workers. I do not blame the workers--they did their best--but the system is flawed. The Van itself was fine and the customer service provided by the humans was good."
"We bought a kitchen appliance set and there was trouble getting the pricing to come out right. But Gary did not give up. He tried every trick in the book. He eventually called a supervisor over, and instead of brushing us off like many places do, they got it figured all out for us. Great customer service! "The Home Depot on 28th Street provides a pleasant big box setting in which to shop. This location actually has employees in it who actually can help you without having to prowl the entire massive store to ask a question to find something or get advice. I have twice been to this store to purchase lumber and both times staff has been able to make the initial cuts to my specified size so I got a good clean cut and able to fit the lumber in my car. Staff is very safety conscious, especially when driving forklifts around the store, by blocking off aisles. I will drive by other big box hardware stores to get to this location."
"I went looking for an indoor switch less motion activated light for our closet, lots of lights but couldn’t find what I was looking for. Went to their online store and found it, and very reasonably priced. Store has just about everything, purchased paint here before and was happy with the results. Staff is very helpful and you can generally find someone. Competitively priced."
"They had various options on display and then the shelf tags would let you know if there were more options online etc. Pretty self service here. Employees around but no one really bothering you when we were just looking for remodel ideas. Seemed pretty well stocked and for a Saturday afternoon our check-out time was quick and the store not too crowded."
