"Purchased BF Goodrich KO2 tires from this store for my 2500 HD truck. Tires constantly out of balance and complained to the store multiple times and got no where. Then went in this last time and tires were worn down to 3/32’s and they only had 29k for miles on the tires and rated for 50k. They then tried getting me to buy more tires and only were going to give me $800 credit back on the junk tires they sold me. Paid over $1900 for the tires and should have got a full refund after dealing with them constantly being out of balance and complaining and getting no where with them on the issue. Clearly was an issue with the tire when they wore to 3/32’s after only 29k for miles. My truck is almost new as it was a 2021. Will never purchase tires again from them as they should have done the right thing and refunded me back my money for defective tires!"
"Very bad experience at the Gaylord store! dropped 2 wheels off to get snow tires put on and they weren't done on time when I was told they would be and being directional it seems like they would know to not mount them for the same side of the car but nope. Most likely will not be going back and I recommend using Meekhof tire! They are way more professional that Tyler will ever be at Discount Tire!"
"It is rare to find even decent customer service now a days. Tyler is exceptional on the phone and in person. I ordered a set of tires thru them and scheduled an appointment. My wait time was as normal as anywhere else. They do accept walk-ins but. keep in mind other people with appointment are first. Definitely recommend ."
"It's a tire store manned by a young crew. They do what's needed with the oversight of a good manager, but they are not on top of their game. Specifically, they did not save a defective tire for inspection as required by state la, which I had inquired about the day before. They missed that other TPMS needed to be replaced when replacing one in the wheel of the defective tire. Therefore, after I paid a very reasonable price to have one replaced, they still couldn't sync it with the car because of the others. I felt like I wasted time, money, or both."
