"I walked in yesterday about 545ish and the associate was helping another customer so I walked over to the batteries. I had to purchase a battery about a year ago and knew I could look online based on year/make/model to find the exact one I needed. I was on my phone searching when the associate walked past me and said "you know you can ask for help, that's what I'm here for." He kept walking past me and started laughing, I couldn't tell if he was even talking to me. I continued on my phone and then later he yelled out to me saying "what's the year and model." I turned around and noticed he was no longer helping someone so I walked up and stated it. I said I was looking on the website and he interrupted saying "I am the website" with a rude smirk. I said okay and he pulled up the info. He asked if I brought the vehicle, I said the battery is dead so I couldn't drive it here. He then asked if I had a "husband, father, brother" and I said "uh Husband why?" and he said "have him get the battery and bring it here then we can sell it to him okay?" And with that I just left. It was a very condescending tone and maybe a bit misogynistic. Maybe I wasn't prepared but it just felt like judgement and I really didn't appreciate his tone. If he was kinder and explained better then I would have been feeling better but he made me feel stupid and that I should have just brought a man to do it. Will not be back."
