"The Wife and I stopped here to get her some new boots and as shes trying them on one of the sales associates takes the other one and the box, my Wife wanted them and she took them and said they were already sold!!! RUDE!!! She should have sold them to the wife and the person who ordered them on line should have gotten a note saying sorry they were sold out. the worst part is i think it was the (manager) needless to say we WONT be back!!"

"….Always, always look forward to the amazing sales and coupons DSW offer this time of year. However, the nasty attitude I just experienced today was completely unacceptable! I accidentally misplaced shoes in the wrong box upon check out and you better believe .. the cashier let me have it… I apologized profusely.. actually went to retrieve the correct shoe box (because she’d stopped helping me) and then gave me a blank stare… At which point , I asked “what’s the matter with you”? She quickly fixed the nasty attitude..and instructed one of her sales associate to find the missing shoe.. murmuring to the associate “yeah..so we won’t be here all night”!! (…Yeah, I assume she was the supervisor..wearing braids and had very full lips, no name tag). Really? Ma’am please take a vacation.. My mom and I have been coming to this location for years ..and it’s sad that this will be my last year. Quality Customer service should be mandatory!!! Ps: Mom and I spent over 100$ and couldn’t even get our items bagged. Cashier shares, “oh we out of bags”! Thank you for this amazing shopping experience. But, patience , grace and a smiles goes along way.. You just may need it one day."

"Love DSW, love the points and gifts Always good offers and well informed to gold members. Shoe return is a good feature to add points. Only store in downriver area and good store with lot of selection. Today I had a bad experience with customer service and was treated unfair at the register by one of the cashier, felt very bad by the way she acted up and later realised she didn’t like to help me. The floor person didn’t even know where the merchandise is !!! Would have been nice if People know to treat everyone equally."
