"This is nothing against the Dr but the staff. I just called to schedule a new patient apt and the receptionist was talking down to me because I didn’t have my sons insurance plan even though my son is in the Beaumont system to which she can see herself. She was questioning if I was the parent and asked bluntly. She was rude and very unprofessional. I dodged a bullet with the staff!"

He is very attentive to the child/parents concerns/needs and recommends the best treatment plan. He is responsive to messages on MyChart, even outside of office hours. "My oldest is 16 I been going to him since she was a baby. All 3 of my kids are his patients. My middle child is autistic and needs special attention and help. My youngest son had complications when he was born which caused health concerns and Dr. Purifoy was beyond helpful and caring. He has built a great relationship with my children and they trust him. Only problem I ever have is that they are always booked and appointments are set far out when needed to be seen sooner. But they do have a cancellation list you can get put on."
