"First Google review so hopefully that says something… I don’t even want to give one star but that’s as low as it will go. May should not be allowed to call herself a groomer with the ‘haircuts’ she gives and treatment towards the dogs. In my last and final experience, May cut my puppy’s leg while grooming her and never let me know- I found out when I saw the blood on her leg at home which was extremely upsetting. I asked for a bath, nail cutting, and a haircut with extra focus on my puppy face; May decided to completely shave her almost bald when there was no reason or request for this. She did a horrible job on the shave (which I didn’t think was possible) and left random long pieces of hair all throughout her body. If you’re going to shave the dog down at least go back over it… At the end of the appointment May let me know how she left the shop to run errands in turn leaving the dogs unattended which is just unacceptable. If you want a good grooming experience for you and your dog, save your money and don’t come here."

"Very responsive and does a great job. Our dogs can be a handful and Mar manages them well and they look and smell great!"

"Simply the best! Nobody has been able to grind my dogs nails without a fight and they did it so easily. My dog was visibly less stressed during and after his nail grinding. I wont go anywhere else. Thank you!"

"Auntie May's is the best. I highly recommend them. My puppy almost died when an incompetent vet insisted she wasn't that sick and refused to do anything about the bladder stones and blood in her urine other than prescribe the same antibiotic three times for an increasingly long time. But Auntie May's saw her for grooming and recognized that what was happening was much more serious than we'd been told. They recommended an excellent vet just in time to save Nettie's life. She had emergency surgery just a week later, and while it was a rough road for a while, Nettie is a happy, healthy dog now. Plus, she's always well groomed - - clean and pretty and free of mats. The prices are very reasonable, and May and Renee are accommodating, too. My parents usually take Nettie for grooming during the week, but when they leave for Florida for a couple of months in the winter, May and Renee give me a weekend appointment so Nettie can still be groomed every month. Weekends are pretty busy for them, of course, but I appreciate their willingness to make sure Nettie is taken care of regardless. They take good care of my Nettie, and I very much appreciate everything they do for us. Plus, Nettie is only alive because they recognized that she was sicker than our original vet said and gave us the name of a vet who could help us. They're ten stars in my book, both for grooming skill and compassion."

"They really care about your dog as if they were their own! I have a 10 year old Newfie with bad knees and diabetes and they make sure she has plenty of breaks!! They are also so reasonably priced and do a fabulous job every time!!"
