"I recently got back into aquariums/fish keeping and have honestly gone to every single shop in metro detroit, and while there are other very nice places, Pet Connection is definitely the best, they have the best selection of healthy fish at the best prices I have seen and they also have the most hardscape in stock along with a large selection of live plants. "They have a nice selection of fish. We have visited several times this month. We wanted to purchase 2 large aquariums ($900 a pc.) staff said no holds (layaway) until we prep area in our home. They are not handicap friendly and customer service is unpersonable."

"This fish specialty store came highly recommended to us. After suffering the loss of fish from a box store, a friend recommended This place to us. I am surprised by the previous reviewer complaining about their prices as I found them to be comparable to other places. Shop local and shop with the experts is much better and prices pretty much on par. I really like that each tank is separate from the neighboring tank. When I went to look at their fish, I found that 98% of their freshwater fish to be very lively and energetic! The advice and instruction, customer service is superb! I found my new fish resource! Thank you!"
