"I was 17 when I went here, was working a full time job. While also going to school. Had no car, and in order to get to my appointments my parents who already didn’t want to help me had to take me right after work. Or I had to ride the bus. I wasn’t even going for long, but I was missing a lot of appointments towards the end (with all the stuff going on in my life). Melissa. V wrote a letter to my mother and I remember the main points were “I was disrespecting her time and it was so irresponsible/rude of me to miss all these appointments”. It was the most unprofessional and mostly petty letter. My mother didn’t even find it worth responding and also felt it to be rude. I’m an adult now, and that’s just bothered me that a medical professional felt the need to go off on a 17 year old."
