"We only stayed one night, but it was pleasant. There were no surprises, which is exactly what I want from a hotel. The room was clean. The furniture looks like it was reasonably updated. Sheets and towels were clean. The bed and sheets were comfortable. There are some nice details as well, like the reading lights and USB ports at both sides of the bed. The staff were friendly, and we received text messages checking up on us at the beginning of our stay. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and free. I have no major criticisms. Troy (and Clawson) are not pedestrian-friendly, but that's not the hotel's fault. If you're a light sleeper, it's worth keeping in mind that the air conditioner is the smaller variety and they can be a little noisy. Ours was on the louder side, but it wasn't too bad and we slept just fine. The bathrooms are excellent. Like the room itself, they have been updated recently. The lights flanking the bathroom mirror are another nice touch - my fiancée found it very helpful when applying makeup. The shower is tall-person friendly, which is greatly appreciated. This is a hotel. It does its job well. It is comfortable, clean, quiet, and reasonably priced."
"I was hoping for more with this establishment. The doors slam so loudly! I was jolted awake multiple times by neighbors doors slamming and accidentally did it myself several times. I'm super mindful of staying quiet so to not disturb others and still managed to slam my dang door. The gym seemed disregarded... spider webs and bugs, both alive and dead. Front desk staff was kind and welcoming."
