"I had a rare complication during my pregnancy which causes my liver not to function correctly causing severe itching and increasing chances of still birth. My husband figured it out from hours of reading. Dr. Lown refused to listen and order a simple liver function test to rule the possibility out and told my husband it was just my skin stretching. Finally it got so bad after days of not sleeping and itching till I bled. My husband brought me to the e.r. were they couldn't understand why he wouldn't have just ordered the test just incase. Turns out my husband was right. Dr. Lown never even apologized and actually laughed it off. Thank God he wasnt present at our sons birth and we switched doctors. I wouldn't trust him. He's the reason I switched o.b's and no longer go to metro."

He has been so compassionate, supportive and understanding being my situation ( teen parent). Already so scared being pregnant young and not knowing which doctor to choose as far as being judged. "Dr Lown is the most personable and compassionate doctor I have ever met! I have always thought I had PCOS since I gained a ton of weight and was told I would never have kids with no explanation or any help with medications besides birth control and exercise. Not the case with Dr. Lown. He listened to me and was able to correctly diagnose me and reassure me that my dream of being a mom is a VERY achievable goal, unlike the other doctors telling me I'm young and it would be fine. He will reassure you and is a firm believer no woman should have to live in pain.
