Nova Motel

"Ludington ever own hidin gem!!! Update: Sadly when I gave my first review that was before it was under new ownership. Which I was more then welcoming to the new owners. I greeted them with open arms, ready and willing to share all my knowledge I acquired over the years of working there. Promise were made only to never be met. On bad reviews people leave they make claims that they are in middle of updating and making changes. But the only changes being made would be how ludington little gem is no more. He stated more then once only reason he bought it was because it had amazing reviews and he wabtedbro ride on thr coat tail of others hard work. Personally I can't say I would recommend this as a place to stay, unless your not expecting the same warm friendly relaxing place it once was. He replaced all the staff for no reason. Ludington hiding gem will soon be no more."

"Dirty!!! We had over 30 bugs in our room. Everywhere. So many that when we walked thru, they were crunching under our feet. I was told this was the last room and we couldn't change rooms. I booked through priceline and not direct because I had a coupon....ONLY to get to the motel and have them charge my card an extra credit card fee. The owners' kids will be on the property and annoy you. They go around and pretend to shoot you and your kids. They will swim in the pool with your kids (when the pool is open, that is) and taunt your kids. They have some pool toys they keep there and refuse to share anything. We brought our own pool float and toys, and the owners' kids didn't mind playing with ours....but if you suggest sharing, they will tell you they can do whatever they want because they are the "managers". I was charged over $400 for 2 nights in a bug infested room with kids pretending to shoot my children. I will NEVER be back. The pool also closes at random times, so don't count on using that either."

"Very friendly staff, comfortable and very clean rooms. They have grills outside and picnic areas where you can cook. There is a swimming pool. They were flexible and super helpful for everything. Good location and petfriendly. 100% recommend. ( the wifi signal could be stronger tho)"

"I have been staying at this place for over 20 years ....when I came to ludington.was always greeted kindly...by Joni and Kent ... always had great service...the house keeper was always a very nice and helpful young lady..I was floored when I walked into the office and low and behold a man that appeared to be extremely uncleanly and had an odor as if he hadn't showered..we were informed that he was the new owner....oh my ! We had already booked the room so decided to go ahead and stay ..the room was not cleaned properly, it smelled terrible. Hair in the bathroom..the sink had soap all around it the carpet was filthy the sheets looked like they hadn't been changed and were soiled . invaded by enormous ants everywhere..and other insects as well . what a horrible experience this turned out to be. Unfortunately we will never patron this establishment again and would not recommend it to anyone else..."

"This place is a joke. I wish I could give it a lower rating than one star. The reviews are riddled with false reviews. One includes a five-star review from one of the corporate officers. The place was filthy. There was hair on the linens. There was a bug in one of the beds. There was dirt on the rug and there was hair in the bathtub. I asked for the manager and I was told I couldn't speak to him. I asked to have him call and I was told he would not. The places across the street from a cement factory and I imagine that depending on the wind direction you would be breathing fugitive dust and it smelled like there was a oil refinery or fuel depot nearby as well. Luckily the wind wasn't coming straight in the direction of the motel when I stayed. The photo on their website of the woods is fake and of some other location. The woods behind the location is filled with garbage. There were cigarette butts all over. I could probably go on but I won't…"
