Nader's Motel & Suites

"My wife booked a room months in advance of our stay. She asked for a pet friendly room. We picked Nader’s because of the location to the beach and my son was bike riding in the coast to coast event. This is a 200 mile bike ride that is completed in one day. When my wife and I went to check in to the motel and have it ready for our son to crash, we were told they did not have any pet friendly rooms available. We showed them the confirmation that showed pet friendly. They simply said oh well. We had to book at a different hotel (holiday Inn) at 11pm. They also refused to refund our money. We had a long fight with our CC company and we were told that Naders refused to refund. I see other reviews with this same scenario."

"Staff was always friendly and helpful. Family owned, they clearly take pride in business. We were there off season and it was quiet. Only thing I would like to see changed is two week cancellation policy. We did pay for a night we couldn't use but I knew that up front. We will certainly stay here again."

"We stayed here a few years ago and really liked it enough to return. Little did we know how rude and poorly run it had become. The check in woman was terrible; the great stone face couldn’t crack a smile of welcome, barking her orders regarding checkout. Room service was awful! All we requested was a set of clean towels daily. Well, when we returned to the room, nobody had bothered. I called the office to request fresh towels and was told to bring by used ones to them - WHAT!!! When I went to get the towels, they didn’t have a set left. They also charged extra for “sundries,” never mentioned and never saw a hotel charge extra for toiletries ( in bottles attached to the wall.) Total lack of hospitality!!"

"We stayed here for our wedding weekend and had the rehearsal dinner in the courtyard. It created a picture perfect rehearsal dinner and relaxation around the camp fire. The staff and the owners (Kelly and Mike) went out of their way to make it a memorable experience. Thank you Scott and Jamie"

"Don’t stay here ! the first problem we had was with our reservation- we had to change our date - not cancel our reservation- yet they charge you a fee for that ! then upon our arrival- we found our bathroom to have a dirty toilet ! this made us totally uncomfortable thinking that possibly the whole room hadn’t been cleaned- there were no other rooms available and Jessica at the front desk said there was no one there to help us and she would write it down in a book and someone will get back with us. The second room that we booked for a friends traveling with us had a floor that was soaking wet and they had to wear their shoes the whole time . upon checking out I talked with Michael- I believed to be one of the owners told him of our problems- I asked for some credit- not even a refund- but some compensation for these two dirty rooms . he apologized and seemed very sincere, and said that they would get back with us and give us some kind of credit. I never heard from anyone. I called several times left several messages. Still no call back. I will not stay here again and recommend that you don’t because if you have any problems you cannot get any help with it. it’s sad because in the past this place used to be really nice in a fun place to stay. I felt bad that we recommended it to friends. We definitely will not recommend this to anyone in the future."
