"Stayed there this weekend and absolutely loved it. The owner is very accommodating. It's location is perfect to get to anywhere in escanaba. The room was gorgeous and priced very well definitely a hidden gem will definitely stay again."

"The Hiawatha Motel is a hidden gem! Planned a three-day trip to Escanaba, made reservations online based on reviews and was not disappointed. The rooms are IMMACULATE, owner/proprietor and staff are very accommodating and friendly. The price and location cannot be beat. I dislike chain/corporate/large motels and hotels and this place filled the bill. Refrigerator and microwave in room were more than adequate, bed was comfy, assigned parking facilitates easy unloading and loading of vehicle....what more could one ask for! In addition, the price for a three night stay could not be beat with a stick if you tried all day and all night long. Exceptional value, truly outstanding!"

"Rooms clean, and has more modern of a setup. I reserved an unrenovated room and thought it was very clean and the setup was awesome. By far the nicest people in check in I've ever had for a motel. Will come back here, and definitely recommend."
