"I took my 5 year old poodle mix tothe barking lot today for the first time and had a great experience! He came home looking better than ever and happy as a clam! NO TRAUMA RESPONSE !!! I booked my next apprentice in the spot. She clearly took extra time working through his hair, did not just buzz him to the skin. Thank you so much! Will be back!!"
"Edit: The owner called me back to apologize about the whole situation. She claimed she wanted to give me a partial refund for the experience, but now I have been charged full price twice! I was able to get an appointment fairly quickly and the staff was friendly. When I picked up my dogs though, I found that one dogs ears were still dirty which is supposed to be the basic service. He was also still covered in dandruff and smelled like dirty dog, as if he didn’t even get a bath. The groom job on my poodle was spotty with random hairs sticking up that I have to trim myself. They also gave him really bad razor burn on his nose. I was charged $45 for a simple bath (no haircut) and $40 for a full service groom for my poodle. If you’re looking for cheap, you’ve found it. But it’s definitely not up to par by any means."
"I highly recommend tulip City Barking Lot. Linda is a sweet kind informative lady. She always takes time to answer any questions I have she's never rude or makes me feel like I'm wasting her time. She is an amazing groomer and always does my toy poodle perfectly. If you are looking for a good groomer give her a call you won't be sorry!"
