Elkhart Clinic - Concord Family Medicine

"I've been with this office of nearly 20 years prior to its affiliation with Elkhart Clinic. I've never had an issue with service prior to the switch, but the service and lack of professionalism now being offered is just horrible, terrible, absolutely completely unacceptable. There is little to no concern for the care (long term or otherwise). My last visit today 7/18/23, I brought to the attention the recent care and treatment received from staff of the facility to the doctor, he didn't bother to acknowledge the issue let alone offer at least a professional apology, and an offer to proceed with better care. He ignored all I had to say, gave me a speech about that being the issue everywhere. As I tried to determine the plan of action for my care going forward, the appointment grew worse. I would have thought better of him if he had suggested care with another doctor than to not treat me to what he determined was "serious." After meeting with me for a few minutes, not apologizing, not providing a plan for care, he left sent the nurse back with a back of samples and another nurse with my check out papers. I didn't see him again... after 20 years. I can't say its the doctor or the new affiliation with Elkhart Clinic, I've dealt with other doctors who have since left Elkhart Clinic and I have dealt with Elkhart Clinic before and the service, professionalism and care has always been terrible. When I found out Concord Family Medicine was now with Elkhart Clinic, I was not happy at all and told the doctor. In this case it was the doctor I was talking to and dealing with and had he himself shown any concern for his office staff's service and performance I would be able to say it was all affiliation as I only seen one individual in the office who was with his practice prior to the change. But since he provided the same level or lack of care and concern, I have to say it's both. I wouldn't and couldn't suggest Concord Family Medicine or Elkhart Clinic to ANYONE, and I mean ANYONE. Their advertisement speaks of providing the best care, well if what they offer is the best medical care given, you may be better doing selfcare because basically that is what you receive. I am so upset with myself that after previous experience with Elkhart Clinic, I continued with Concord Family Medical, knowing they were now Elkhart Clinic. I guess under "new management" doesn't mean same care. I don't want another doctor affiliated with Elkhart Clinic and would 't recommend anyone to this outdated, old, dark, and terrible service to anyone."

"I have been with this clinic for over 30 they have changed so much. The doctors and office staff just don't care about their patients anymore. I have left this clinic because of this and they don't accept any of the insurance that retired people can afford. I would not recommend this office to anyone unless they start accepting insurance that people can afford and change his office staff."

"We were loyal patients. I do not recommend anyone going to this joke of a clinic. We had to switch do to insurance purposes cause they didn't accep ours and now they won't accept anyone back that has transferred their records out. This is the biggest joke of a so called "policy ". This clinic is a joke and i will never recommend anyone to go there."

"Dr Yoder is an excellent physician. He listens and doesn't just lump his patients into stereotypes based on numbers. It is clear that patients aren't lab results to him, they are people. I feel safe trusting him with my health."
