"I was scheduled for a heart catheterization and required a stent to be placed. There was no doctor assigned to me upon admission and the only medications I was given were the ones the cardiologist added. I am diabetic, with chronic nerve disease and a kidney transplant recipient and require around twenty medications I did not receive. I will never return to this facility!"
"Emergency room staff was great, professional, efficient, and friendly. I nor none of my family will ever be admitted here again, unprofessional even dangerous run even if all the way to South Bend."
"My mother in law spent a day and half at this dump to be told there was nothing wrong with her. She was brought in via ambulance because her blood pressure was at stroke level. All this idiot Dr had to say was there was nothing wrong with her. Well guess what doc she is getting ready to stroke out again but hey worry more about your staff racially profiling somebody. Something happens to her this hospital will be sued! Hire staff that know what they are doing and have degrees in this field instead of hiring people off the street because you fired staff for not getting your stupid covid shot"
"Very disappointed in EGH . Was there for 12 hrs straight . Long wait . Wait to be checked in , wait to be seen , wait to draw blood out etc . Very unprofessional nurses as well. Lost my mom’s blood tests , she had to have blood drawn 3 times. For the first time , she had her blood drawn out , she was left with a bruised arm . Also , the nurses just stand there while people are trying to check in. Also comments like , Mondays & Tuesdays their busiest days - like , nobody chooses what day to get sick etc ."
"Only go here if you want to die. The staff doesn’t care, there was only “one” doctor for both the ER and the Fast Track. ER refused to actually treat my sister after a fall where she hit her head. The nursing staff threatened to bill her for the visit instead of the insurance company, if she left AMA. The staff refused to allow my brother in law to speak to the house Supervisor or the Administrator on call. My sister has been going there all her life but will not continue going there after today. This place is a joke."
