"I love seafood with a passion. Just wanted to try this place out and was extremely disappointed. I ordered hush puppies & a catfish basket. Hush puppies were okay 5/10. Catfish was a 2.5/10. It was rubbery. Smelled and tasted like the inside of an old refrigerator and honestly didn’t taste or look fully cooked. Worst catfish I’ve had. Glad I didn’t get the seafood bowl like I wanted because I would’ve went from disappointed to angry. Will never return. Don’t bother. There’s soooooo many other great seafood spots in metro detroit (for example Crazy Crab in Southfield)"
"Five stars for them. This was my first time eating here. I ordered Lobster, Crab boil and fried catfish and shrimp. We loved the food. Seasoned perfectly! My only suggestion is that you sell the tools to crack and eat the crab. Otherwise, perfect food. Service was decent.."
"I’m upset cuz I spent $107.00 with this company today 1/14/22 on a seafood boil that I’ve been craving. I specifically asked her can she make sure my corn isn’t soggy (From a past experience from a different restaurant) and is fresh and she told me it’ll be fresh, Just to get a seafood boil with soggy corn and I ordered 4 extra. I love corn and the corn I recieved was so gummy and gross. I truly expected my first experience here to be a good one and it was the opposite. Maybe I have to get my food done-in for it to be fresh cause carry out was not it! Couldn’t even enjoy my food!"
"This was my first visit to Mad Crab but certainly not the last. The staff was kind, the food was neatly packaged,hot, fresh and very delicious! I ordered the 1/2 lb. snow crab and shrimp with all mixed flavors and it was just right! They have left a lasting impression on my family and I. If you’re looking for the bland-only crab boil, this is NOT for you! Each bag of crab boil is packed with flavorful deliciousness!"
"Outstanding food. The employees seem to take their job seriously and are through. I wish they were open for dining inside but until then I'll be a regular getting take out."
