"Food was good but the service was unorganized. The line was confusing don't know where to order the food and walk a lot to pay and pickup your order at the window. One person don't know if we ordered our food or to pickup so they cut in front of us like we're back in school or something. A 3 star review just for the food. By the way the greens is dry with no seasoning. Talking about #2 in the nation by DL Hughley radio show seems like a joke instead of a review. Fix the line by putting arrows to tell customers where to go like other places to get organized. It might be my one and only visit. Do better if you want to attract more people to your business!"
"Food is delicious, but it depends on who the cook/chef is that day because the garlic flavor is very strong sometimes. Food is ALWAYS hot! Customer Service is pleasant. Food is plentiful. Food is a little over priced, but its worth when you don't want to make it yourself."
"Paid $61 dollars for two dinners and 3 sides. Dressing was not good. Gravy tasted as if it came straight out the jar. Chicken tasted as if it was cooked in old grease. Also Mac and cheese was dry. This is my second time coming to this location. My first try it was good. This time not so good. Restaurant should be consistent with their recipes."
"Thank you! I decided to get the mini turkey wing, which comes with one side and a biscu6. I went with the mac and cheese and it was cooked to please, yummi!! The turkey was flavorful and the cornbread was thick. Great choice and I'll be back with my pocketbook next time (pricey), ha!!"
"I've been going to this restaurant since it was called Motown soul food when it 1st opened back in 1999 on 7 Mile. They serve great food. They keep fresh pans coming out regularly. Sometimes they may run out of an item and you may have to wait a few minutes for the new loan to come out. Can also make your order fresh to order if requested. They only downside is the price now but an increase is to be expected with the current inflation. Staff is always friendly and courteous. I came in between rushes so they were replacing pans when I was taking pics but they are great. It's a reason they've been in business so long. They do it right."
