"We went in about 4:00 for an early dinner. Based on the reviews we were really looking forward to trying the food. As soon as we sat down the waitress informed us the kitchen was closed until 6 because they had no cook. Very disappointing. Weird thing was, the person who came in after us got food?!?! Maybe he pre-ordered?!?! Don't know but the Palmer had excellent food!"
"Stopped in after arriving from airport. They had a great breakfast burger with small salad waffles for the bun. Wife had a club sandwich and it was so fresh! Meat thinly sliced! Great service as well!"
"Whoa, not what I was expecting. It was a thousand times better! We were welcomed warmly and our drink orders were taken quickly. We went at 11:30am. It was pretty dead. By 12:15, almost every table was full! The locals know what's up. The all-you-can-eat-fish was to die for; the cod was well-cooked and piping hot. Turkey sandwich was way more than my daughter could eat and my Rueben was almost gourmet. The burger filled up my 6' teen son. The service was amazing. Our poor server was so busy, but she still made sure we got checked on, and she was a total gem in general. The phone was ringing off the hook with take-out orders. Oh, btw, the beers they have on tap...definitely worth checking out! We were stranded in a city we were totally unfamiliar with and I consider myself VERY lucky to have found this delightful place. If we ever have a layover in Detroit again, we will not miss the chance to revisit Wild Willy's! Thanks so much!!!"
