"Loved it! We were dropping off people at the airport and went for lunch Quality is the first thing! No Costco fries here! Hand cut! I had the Chicken shish tawook. Very nice. Excellent food, authentic and great quality. Smaller place and family run/owned."

"Always a tasty meal here! I'm in town for work every few months, and this is the only place I consider eating in the area. Atmosphere is relaxed. Service is quick and friendly. Food is always plentiful and delicious. My favorite is the meat Shwarma plate. I always recommend this place to my coworkers."

"First off, the food got this place a 5-star rating (quality, taste and huge portion size). Got the shawarma and it was excellent. First time I’ve been to this place, but it won’t be the last. The place was tight, but then it’s in a strip mall. The place was pretty clean, as a whole. And the flow of foot traffic was steady. Business is booming. If you live in the area or staying at one of the nearby hotels, it’s a can’t miss meal just waiting for you."

"The table service was slow. I had to look at the servers several times to get their attention to order. The food comes out quickly. I wanted to have the lamb shawarma and hummus but they were out of lamb so suggested beef. It was not as tender as I’ve had and somewhat dry. The hummus was too tangy. The baklava was also on the dry side and small pieces (2 for $5). My total bill was over $30 which I think is higher than it needs to be. I also overhead them discussing a pickup order that was incorrect. The customer called after leaving. Just a heads up. I probably will not return."

"While revisiting Detroit again this weekend, the wife found this place, and it was a great choice! I tried to keep the order small, but the serving sizes were enough to share and take home for a midnight, after-show snack. I ordered the appetizer lamb shwarma hummus and the 6 count lamb grape leaf. The pickles and turnips served with it were top-notch! There was enough to share with a part of 4 and take some home. Wife ordered lentil soup and potato balls. The soup tasted really good, and I am not a fan of lentils! The potato balls were fantastic! Be sure to dip in the garlic sauce with each bite! The potatoes were shared with the 4 of us. FIL ordered a small salad, which was shared with the wife. Nice mix of greens and dressing! MIL ordered lamb Shish Kafta, who loved it, saying the sandwich had tender and tasty meat. She kept 1/2 the sandwich after all the sharing of all the other orders. If you find yourself nearby, this place is worth the stop and is very easily shared."
