"The bar is kind of run down & dingy. The manager had to wear all the hats, bartender, bar back, bar maid,cook...Only deep fried food available yesterday. The only highlight of the day was when the night bar ladies came in, they both had their poop in a group and served quick and friendly. If you shoot pool, don't expect much servicewise, as you well know, most pool players are cheap & don't tip much. Asked about the 7 pool tables, manager said they are all the same, ha,ha,ha. They are dirty, overplayed, bad cloth, no good chalk(Only 2 good pieces for7 tables),rails are dead and thunky, some are loose, the balls are old, dirty & have cracks. The first 4 tables ate the cue ball & sent it into where the other balls go. The bartender/manager wouldn't open the tables up to retrieve the cue balls. So at a buck a game, just not worth wasting your time playing. I guess the league players don't care about quality, must be an APA thing. Too bad for you locals, Sadly I will not be back. THE OWNER NEEDS to step up & resolve these problems."

"Great experience at Strykers! I was here last week for an APA pool tournament, and was attended to right away! The bartenders and servers were very quick, kind, and professional. Clean establishment, would definitely come back to check out the food -- and play more pool! ;)"

"I used to like coming to strykers as a person that has been coming there for 10 years I'm over it. I understand you have pool league but dont schedule pool league on the day there is free pool. Also the pool league people are horribly disrespectful and they are driving out regular customers. Like have one pool table for real customers that come everyday. Stop catering to the horribly disrespectful people that only come during league that don't buy drinks and are disrespectful to customers and bar tenders and the wait staff total disrespect and will never go to strykers again. Would just be nice to have a fun respectful place to go shoot pool in Westland but if you aren't in the pool league it's like you are a forgotten customer even if you been going there for years. Apa pool league must be the must important people in the world. Don't try to go here after 4 pm to shoot pool because apa pool league will kick you out in the most uncomfortable way even when your spending money and management couldn't care for 2 seconds thanks Jeff but all of your regulars aren't coming back wonder why..."

"This place is ok. It's the only place open in the area late enough, after I get off work at night. I've been here twice during the week and it's basically a pool hall with a juke box and bar rail. It's a nice laid back environment when you don't want to go straight home and improve your billiards skills."

"Jackie was nice, but they need to hire more folks. Probably means they ought to play better. Very loud establishment. Grilled cheese was good, 4*. Fries were mid, 3*. Made a new drink. Two fingers of Drambuie, a splash of Malibu Peach and a splash of Kahlua. It was better than it sounds. Everyone there seemed to be having a good time, so this is a happy place, despite the fact that it doesn't cater to sensory needs very well. I was left alone to do my thing, and that made it enjoyable enough to be there."
