"Wild Birds Unlimited in Royal Oak is my favorite place for all my backyard birding needs. Yes, they have quality products. Yes, they have convenient parking in a very busy area of Royal Oak, and right on Woodward. Yes, the staff are kind, knowledgeable, efficient, and just generally wonderful. The owners, LuAnn and Steve Linker, are some of the best humans I've ever met. They know their business and have gone to great lengths to serve their customers, including providing delivery, which is not a standard offering, through the pandemic. What I love most about WBU's bird feeding products is that there is no filler, so it cuts down on waste as well as random weed seeds sprouting under your feeder if the birds get messy. I've seen LuAnn, and other staff stop whatever they're doing to answer customer questions thoroughly and with great consideration of the client's desires and the needs of the wildlife in question. They also sell a great variety of informative books, yard art, statuary, bird baths, and such lovely holiday gifts. LuAnn, Steve and staff are the heart and soul of this business, and it shows in everything they do, and the amazing quality items they sell."

"Feed the wild birds this winter! They have a great selection of birdseed, feeders, suet feeders and other cool outdoor accessories. Great place to find a sweet housewarming gift. Since putting our two feeders out along with a suet feeder, we've attracted woodpeckers, northern flicker, black capped chickadees, cardinals, blue jays, sparrows, mourning doves and nuthatch. Fun to watch and they are thankful"

"What a great store. My wife and I just left. They not only have everything you need, but the knowledge to back it up. Did not try to sell us anything. Instead, gave great ideas to help us bring hummingbirds (hopefully) to our back yard this year. Staff was supper sweet and prices are more than fair. We did purchase the membership as our first trip here easily paid for it.Ellen was the person who helped us. Definitely see her if you have questions. Thank you for all of your help. "Everytime I walk in the door I am greeted like an old friend. I am always asked if I need anything with a cheerful smile and when I do need help, they give experienced advice and will spend the amount of time that I need. The store is always clean and has cute artsy stuff besides bird food and feeders. I highly recommend this store!"

Don't worry if you need supplies or feeders that are to big or heavy for you to handle good ole Steve will make sure you are taken care of and always with a smile.
