"I used Lowe's services for a deck install that began in May of 2023. It has now been nearly 10 months and the deck is still unfinished. I have spent hours and hours and hours with various contacts within the local store as well as the corporate office and have not been able to get my deck install completed. Simply getting a parts order entered correctly and delivered has been a near-impossible task. The work the contractors did complete was not up to code and damaged various part of our house. It has been the single most insanely incompetent customer service experience of my entire life. Stay as far away from this group as humanly possible since full up front payment is required for jobs."

"While the prices and selection are reasonable, it is nearly impossible to find an employee to answer a question, give directions or offer assistance. Nonetheless, it’s not as bad as the Home Depot in terms of customer service. Therefore, by virtue of not being the worst, I choose to spend my home improvement dollars at Lowe’s."

"Was in to look at washing machines and found a few of interested and was given the information I needed. Also had a few more questions and I left Lowe's with a much better idea of what I was planning. I've been going to Lowe's and always impressed with their help."

"I hired Lowe’s for a fence installation and couldn’t be more dissatisfied. Do NOT book an installation service through Lowe’s. The entire process has take over a month due to wrong parts/missing parts, installers no call/no showing, and best of all, the installer forcing a gate latch shut leaving me TRAPPED IN MY HOME AND UNABLE OPEN TO LEAVE IN MY CAR. When contacted to fix the gate latch that wouldn’t open and was clearly forced shut (see photos 1-2) the installer came and used a hammer to open it but was unable so he removed the latch entirely. I saw him pull out a can of black spray paint and explicitly asked him NOT to spray the heavily damaged latch to which he ignored and proceeded to spray the latch (see photos 3-7). I have spent hours on the phone with Lowe’s installation support to advocate for a resolutions. As of now I have been offered no compensations or solutions."

"We recently ordered a group of five appliances from Lowe’s, which included haul away service for each. There were so many issues I can’t list them all, but I will say that both set of delivery drivers claimed they couldn’t perform the haul away or even bring the items into our home because they had such a busy delivery schedule. The second group was convinced to take the haul away items and help bring the refrigerator inside but then left it just inside the doorway, without even taking the doors off to try and get it upstairs. My husband was left with no choice but cut our railing down in order to have room to take the doors off since the drivers left without helping. They should have moved it back outside, removed the doors and then gotten it upstairs and to the kitchen and put the doors back on before leaving. I had to help him get the fridge up the steps once I came home and then reassemble the fridge once in the kitchen. They also broke our light in the garage moving the fridge. Truly disappointed after spending 3700$ for new appliances that we had so much trouble with the drivers. Lowe’s should address the driver situation before losing more customers. 0/10 would NOT recommend buying appliances from Lowe’s."
