"My daughter has been there for over a year, and the staff is consistently kind, supportive, and communicative. I really appreciate how valued we feel. Every staff person (not just her teachers) knows my baby's name and greets us daily. I love getting photo updates and having live camera access. Lastly, Im MOST PLEASED with the hour or more of outside time the children get every day -weather permiting-."

"The program admin staff is friendly. The daycare facility itself is a little small and chaotic. My kiddo was in the two’s room and the teachers came off as burned out and unaware of what was going a lot, especially with bad behavior in the classroom. Additionally, they did not assist with potty training well, and my daughter had multiple days where she came home with changed clothes because she wet through at naptime, with minimal reporting on potty activity. I suspected they did not do many potty checks. Overall we were treated like just a number. Experience with our new daycare facility really made me see the difference. They are all very friendly and helpful, and take care of what’s needed ASAP. My child’s first day experience at the new daycare was a night and day different from their “best” day at Appletree. Appletree experience was not bad but definitely not good, which just didn’t make it worthwhile for the cost."

"My children were at this daycare for almost 2 years and it was an awful experience. We tried to express our concerns and there was little follow through. The teachers do not have the proper early childhood background, there is high teacher turn over so the center loses their best teachers, & worst of all the Director and center are very misleading. This is a Christian school which is fine if that is the educational experience you want for your child. Their music teacher, Ms Karen teaches bible stories even though she is not supposed to. The director is aware of this and allows it to continue. There is no transparency about this and few parents realize what is happening. Additionally, their curriculum is not culturally responsive or diverse. If your child is smart or gifted, they will be bored easily. Do not go to this daycare."

"Its a great place for kids. The best daycare i have found and this is the first time my son has been in a facility. Love it they upload what they each when and how much. Also they upload what kind of diapers they have and nap time. You can always log into the cameras and watch them."

"I've sent all 3 of my kids to Appletree Christian Learning Centers. My 2 youngest have attended the Kentwood location and my baby is currently still there. I chose Appletree over all the other locations mainly on how I felt when I toured the facility. I watched the teachers interacting with the children and witnessed all the smiles on the kids faces. The set up of the facility made sense and was very open yet separated. The other advantage Appletree has is the access to webcams in every room. Having a webcam was a HUGE relief for me especially when you are leaving your kids in the hands of strangers (at first). I was able to log on at work or from my phone and check in on my baby just to put my mind at ease. When I pick my baby girl up and she is smiling at her caregivers it makes me feel confident that the people looking after my little one is doing a great job. I love that they have fun but also have a great curriculum. They work on the fundamentals with my baby and are an instrumental part in her growth and development. I'd highly suggest this facility to anyone looking for a safe place to send their little ones."
