"Bare minimum service. Small portion sizes. Largest piece of fried chicken that appeared to be a breast. It was all bone coated and fried. Tasted rancid. Cold air blowing on us. What was a description of cake to go. Was two small plastic tubes of pudding and whipped cream and sprinkles. My son and eye have never experienced such poor quality of service, food, and atmosphere. This used to be our favorite affordable place to eat on special occasions. :( Honestly, I would have loved to go back in the kitchen and pulled a Ramsey."

"The best part about this day we met a World War II veteran that was 102 years old with his wife. It was about 4:15. The waitress said him and his wife come in all the time. What a firm handshake, the man had! What a honor to meet him! That would’ve been enough for me, but we did eat. We got the codfish and fried chicken with cheese, curds our appetizer was fried pickles. My wife and I enjoyed all the food and the service was excellent. Very good portions of food at a reasonable priced."

"Great diner in Ashland. We had a quick breakfast here and enjoyed the staff, food and atmosphere. We had a pancake, egg and sausage breakfast and everything was very fresh and flavorful. Very good. I'm looking forward to trying one of the burgers here! Definently be back!"
