"3rd shop to fix broken alternator bracket problem (invoice 29540). Lower alternator bracket broken stud removed new brackets and studs installed. Forward stud on lower bracket not installed deep enough to allow proper clamping force of the nut and the bracket broke again. I would say avoid any dealer network who will not honor the work of mechanics in their dealerships. Thousands of miles away their response "bring it back but something other than our mechanic caused that". "Vibration damper that's it, that's the reason." 95$ an hour for basically nothing except another bill."
