"I think it’s important to recognize excellent customer service in this day and age of overwhelmingly poor experiences. My father’s contractor backed out on a job he had planned for and subsequently decided to scrap the project all together. The wonderful team at Carters, including the manager Dean, was so helpful and swift in taking action to help my father recoup some costs that otherwise would have really set us back. Carters may have lost on this particular sale, but i assure you they have gained a loyal customer. We will not be shopping around for our future lumber needs as it is very plain to see that this is the place to go as they prioritize their customers needs."

"Despicable management of the property. The view from the Metropark's Nature Trail. They clear cut the property over the Winter, and this is the dump there is now. All of their trash blows onto the trail."
"Did a complete home remodel in 2017. Our contractor wanted us to go through Carter lumber and we didn’t have a problem with it. Everything went ok until our garage doors were installed. The measurements were rounded up to a standard size which doesn’t fit our opening. Called carter lumber immediately and told them what the problem was. Dave our salesman said he would contact Haas garage doors and come up with a solution. A few days later the solution came in. All we had to do was spend another 500$ per door and they would make us a custom size bottom panel. Hard to believe that carter lumber and haas door, a couple of million dollar companies would expect me to fix the problem. Doors were installed in early September and still an ongoing problem."
