"Wish I could rate a 0. HORRIBLE management. Randee is extremely rude and tries to make you feel stupid because you don't know every law or rule ever made. I would bet that the rating of this complex would sky rocket if they got rid of her and never looked back. How many complaints does it take until the owners realize how terrible she is??"

"I lived here for two years I started with a one bedroom and very easily when my lease up was moved into a two bedroom. Randee the property manager was very informative and helpful with everything she offered me several choices. The two bedroom apartment is very spacious. The maintenance great every time I needed something I was able to get it fixed quickly he is also very friendly he always said hi to me and my son when he would see us. The property is kept very nice landscaping is fantastic. I would recommend this place to anyone considering moving into stow/Kent area."

"Wish I could rate as a 0. Do not trust the property manager Randee. My boyfriend rented an apartment here and I lived with him there up until when we moved last year. We tried notifying her for two months in advance that we would be moving and asked her how much we owed for breaking our lease .She never responded so we moved out. Flash forward to over a year later, after notifying her of our new address before we left and everything, she calls him saying we left the place damaged and owe her money. We made improvements and kept up on cleaning the entire time living there and scrubbed the place down before we left. Any damage was normal wear and tear. She wants to take us to court but per Ohio laws she had 30 days to notify us from the day we notified her we were moving out last year. Do not trust her. She is shady, not to be trusted, and will lie. No one should ever live here. I'm glad we got out of that dump."

"I live at the Robinwood location. I’d like to warn you that there is NOT 24 maintenance, although it listed online. It’s a LIE. The property manager is highly unpleasant & if you don’t have your lease memorized she will be rude as can be to you. The facility itself is great, minus the very old appliances & every time they break they just try to fix it 10 times until you demand a new one (like my dishwasher that was leaking all over the floor when used). The people that live there are nice, but a few months back a guy murdered his mother in their apartment, HORRIFYING. I just wish i could have a respectable conversation with Randee (the p.m.) without her being super nasty to me. We are a young couple who works very hard to have everything we have while also attending college & she just treats me like I’m a child because their policy’s are something I’m not super familiar with off the top of my head. Also the leasing office is in Akron. So you get stamps now and send your rent in the mail, because they don’t have a website & don’t have an account to set up automatic payments. I could go on for a while. If customer service is something you’re looking for, do not live here."

"I would like to start off by stating my wife and I lived at Robinwood Apartments 8 years. It wasn’t just an apartment, it was our home. We paid rent on time every month for a total of $65,000. I believe that we were good tenants. We didn’t complain much, and we handled most minor maintenance issues ourselves. When we first moved in, it seemed like a great place to live. There were quality tenants that had been there many years, and the cost of rent was reasonable for the type of units. The owners Jim and Leslie handled everything directly. They seemed great, but things changed over the years. They started hired property managers. Horrible management has resulted in multiple managers over the years. And rent now increases every year which forces quality tenants out. I’m talking good hardworking people, some with families. The type of tenants brought in, some of which were our neighbors, was ridiculous. One tenant next door had an addiction huffing chemicals, which is a fire hazard. The cops and the tenant’s father were at our door multiple times. And the most puzzling is he had a history of this addiction, but his support system was willing to pay rent. Hmm?? Another group of tenants were multiple individuals crammed in a one bedroom apt. They left trash everywhere and then eventually dipped (midnight movers). I have further concerning details on the midnight movers that affected everybody renting at Robinwood, but that would be a longer story. I’ve also seen everything to an individual sleeping on top of his car (true story), a dumpster practically burnt to the ground, and much more, but I digress. In short, the current manager Randee is a ball-breaker. At least the previous manager cared a little. Some of the other tenants that we know feel the same. I would’ve liked for us to continue renting and save for another year or two, but my wife had enough and wanted to move on. I could keep going on with my frustrations…. (Please note the first paragraph when reading this last part) We lost the bulk of our security deposit for excessive dust. She claimed they had to paint more than usual. What did she expect when furniture is stationary for 8 years with white mat paint. My wife and I were good tenants, and the place was in great condition. We purchased paint and supplies for touch-up work on the townhome throughout the years. We also bought rugs to protect the carpet in high traffic areas, etc., etc. Again, this was our home. Final notes… The landscaping is kept up during the warm months, but snow removal is a joke. Many have fallen on the ice. We bought our own ice melt for the sidewalks. The appliances are heavily outdated…and I’m talking late seventies/early eighties. I’ve personally seen them use cheap spray paint in areas when turning over apartments. We’ve had many tenants move and out quickly all around us. Robinwood apts. is not the place it once was years ago."
