"Kylie at the Fairfield Inn in Stow is absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to help us with our unique check in and did everything she could to make the stay spectacular! Recommend you choose this over the other Hilton properties in the area the service is first class. Kylie took her time to make our check in easy and fast. This is how customer service should be! "Great visit! Traveling with a family of 5 and we were really impressed. The room had a great layout and was very clean. Ample outlets easily accessible for charging all the tech that comes with 5 people. Breakfast was excellent and had a special selection gluten free items for our youngest. Highly recommend this location."
"This is going to sound harsh but, somebody should be let go at this location. Not the front desk guy, because he was absolutely wonderful and patient. But the rooms were gross, littered with mold and dust. I tried 3 different rooms, none were actually clean. The 3 images were captured in each room. The second room had some harsh sent sprayed to cover the likely musty smell. For me, that set off allergies and it was intolerable. The location and staff are fine, but with this hotel built in 2016, there should be no allergens and it should look beautiful. Sadly, it does not."
"We were stuck in a snow storm during our road trip last night and we called other Marriotts in the area and none had rooms since it was so late at night. We finally got ahold of Akron Stow Fairfield, and the young woman at the desk was so kind and helpful! I’ve worked front desk before so I know it isn’t always easy getting walk-ins super late at night. But she was so compassionate and helpful, my boyfriend and I appreciated her! :) We will definitely think to come back to the area for the hospitality we were given."
"Loved this hotel. Until I received my bill with a $15 charge on it for a SOAP DISH they claim was missing from the room! No, there was NO SOAP DISH in the bathroom when we checked in. Did I think that was a big deal? No. But apparently, they do. I called to dispute the claim and management won't remove the charge. What a shame because I really liked this hotel, but this is ridiculous."
