"When I moved into The Senior Chateau exactly four years ago, I admit things were a bit of a mess. Although stories of mice, cockroaches, and bed bugs were a bit inflated in other reviews, they did exist in some apartments. Other stories about "mean managers" were absolutely ridiculous. In the four years I've lived here, I've witnessed those "mean managers," - Tequana, Michelle, Amy, Regina (whom we lost to death when she was way too young,) and now Alexandria. None of these managers were ever mean or unkind. All of them did the job they were supposed to do, and if that hacked off some residents, oh well. People who live in this building sometimes don't know how to take responsibility for their own actions. As for the mice, cockroaches, bed bugs - it wasn't a huge problem to begin with, (at least when I moved in) and management has worked extra hard to eliminate the problem. Most of the residents here are either introverts who keep to themselves, or extroverts who are extremely kind. Yes, there are always a few trouble makers, but management stays on top of that. The newest property manager, Alexandria, is a God-send. She's kind, and she works her butt off. Janis - I think she's a district manager - is very kind and would put the Energizer Bunny to shame. Cassandra, who works the front desk, is calm and sweet, the kind of person you need at the front desk in a place filled with older people who have a variety of needs. Maintenance? You couldn't ask for better workers. And my favorite, Cynthia Armstrong, the Service Coordinator - well, my goodness. What can I say about her? Residents here regularly feast on meals she has brought in from various restaurants and senior-help facilities, and if you only allow her to, she will help you any way she can. I have grown to love The Senior Chateau. I recommend it to anyone who meets the requirements."

So this place has helped to lift her spirit n ease my mind that she did not have to go to nursing home."
