"I couldn’t write a review earlier we wanted to rent 1bhk here , we were almost desperate to rent as we were living in hotel for a month till now We were told 1bhk is available and we filled in application and when we are about to go ahead and pay we were told sorry the unit is already taken there s been a mis understanding. I think someone wasn’t doing their job right. This is almost a year before but I wanted people and management to know. We had to continue to live in hotel for another couple of weeks due to this. Overall the apartments looked really good and very convenient but I guess the management should look at the accurate availability information."

"I have never lived in a more disgusting and mismanaged place. do not live here. “luxury apartments” is a joke, maybe instead of worrying about a tanning bed or game room, you should make sure that your complex is hospitable for people to live in. Over the year and a half i’ve lived here my AC has broken 4 times, and I had to leave my cat in unsafe conditions in the summer. It would take weeks sometimes months for them to fix it and I had to go into the office to basically beg them to fix it. Now, it’s cold outside and surprise surprise my furnace is broken! They said a week ago they’d bring us a space heater, that hasn’t happened. My dryer is broken, so I’m unable to do laundry, after a week nothing has been done to fix it. I’ve had to fix things in my apartment myself because no one will do it. Oh! And if you want cockroaches definitely move here! They charge so much for rent but where is all the money going? Definitely not to keeping their apartments clean and safe for their residents. Staff is incompetent and incapable of following up and doing basic tasks. Please don’t move here, this is the worst place, it’s a crime how much you pay for such terrible conditions, I cannot wait to move."

"In short, a generally "just fine" experience over the last two years has been soiled by total failures of maintenance and office staff to respond to maintenance service requests. Rent is too high for what you get. Also, look into your tenant rights with respect to Rent Escrow. I've lived here for two years and I cannot wait to get out. IF nothing breaks, the apartment itself is comfortable enough, though not worth paying more than $1200 in rent. There is an active railroad behind the complex that takes some getting used to when trying to sleep at night. I can't speak for the quality of the other amenities. I personally don't care for gyms and the pool was often closed due to other residents bringing and breaking glass on the premises. However, WHEN things break, buckle up for a rough ride. It took me over two weeks for my air conditioning to be fixed in the middle of the summer, and I'm convinced that it wouldn't have been fixed had I not started hounding the leasing office and maintenance staff with phone calls and daily visits to the office. Currently, I'm waiting on the office to fix a sink/garbage disposal (ticket submitted over a month ago) and a door (recurring issue for over a year). I discovered today that the maintenance ticket was inexplicably and inappropriately cancelled when the work hadn't been done. I received no communication from the office about the cancellation. Also note that when you go to visit the office, go EARLY. I've gone as soon as I could after work 10-15 minutes before the office closes and have found locked doors and empty lots on at least two occasions. The office staff themselves are pleasant enough and certainly say the right things. They seem genuinely earnest in making your experience at Brookstone Village better, so perhaps the issue is with the maintenance staff? But the bill has to stop with somebody at some point."

"Do NOT live here, this was the worst renting experience of my life. My AC was out for over a month in the middle of summer (6/28--8/1) and they ignored my multiple maintenance requests, it took multiple in person visits for someone to finally listen and get it fixed . The place is very under-kept everything is overgrown and looks trashy with shudders falling off some buildings, there is always trash around the dumpsters and there's so many bugs. In the gym majority of the equipment is broken and they have not replaced or fixed any of it. You pay way too much money for a "luxury" experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone."

"My experience with living at Brookstone has been great. There are difficulties anytime you rent. But, the Brookstone staff especially Paul, take great care of their tenants and go above and beyond to resolve urgent needs in a timely manner. Plus, the location is great!"
