I also appreciate the communication notifications that are sent with the confirmed time for the maintenance technicians estimated arrival. "I was left without an apartment after the wrong unit was assigned to me. Sunset properties let go of an employee and never followed up with me to verify any information. Unfortunately due to their policy I was unable to view my unit until the day before. I was refunded my money and let out of the lease immediately as it was their mistake"

"Sps is terrible… I feel this company does NOT care about their tenants. The management team is rude. They hardly answer the phone. This company will try to find any reason to add charges and problems to your life. I recently moved out and my apartment was in excellent condition considering minor wear and tear damages from utilizing the space for 3 years. SPS somehow found a way to deduct from my deposit amount for cleaning fees on the appliances when I paid a third party company to clean the space. There was a pest problem that was never responded to causing all tenants to come out of pocket to eliminate the problem. There were plumbing issues that weren’t handled in timely manners causing in house flooding problems. Save yourself the stress and do not rent from SPS!"

"Sunset properties bought the building I lived in and told me I dont make enough money to renew my lease. 2 employees told me 2 different things, I was going to suck up the $300 rent increase because I loved the place lived, and someone who worked there told me I could stay. Then I went to renew my lease, and was told no. I was forced from my home even though I had the money for rent. They made the rest of the building look better but wouldn't update my place and treated me like I was a brand new tenant even though I lived there for a.year before they bought the place. This is happening everywhere, and sunset is just another company who takes over he property and pushes out the working class. The world full or people with zero empathy for the working poor."

"I recently moved into a SPS property and have been so pleased! I needed an apartment on very short notice and Abby helped me find and tour multiple properties very quickly (within 24 hours of me reaching out to the company. My application was also responded to within 24 hours. All staff that I have interacted with were very kind and helpful with move-in information emails and tips for living in my apartment (laundry, trash, utility info, etc). Property managers and staff respond very promptly and professionally to emails. My apartment is newly renovated, affordable and the building is very well maintained, especially the hallways/lobby/shared areas. Highly recommend SPS – I have only positive things to say about my experience!"
