"Have lived here for almost 5 years. They do not fix problems (a/c, fridge, dishwasher)they cover problems up or make up excuses why they can’t fix issues. They do not follow up with tenet complaints either. Every year our a/c has issues running but they won’t do anything regarding it because when it does decide to work it blows cold air therefore it doesn’t need fixed or looked at according to them. 88 degrees inside with the air on! Somethings not right. Rent is cheep for a reason. Don’t waist your time with Cedar Hills Apartments, It’s not worth it."

"I don’t even know where to begin. I’ve been tolerating this place for three years because it’s affordable and I’m able to save money. Every year my air conditioner and heater go out. One summer I went three months without air and I was 6 months pregnant. At one point I got carpet fungus and even the repair man said the pipes were not properly installed which was causing the problem. I ended up with black mold all over the walls around the AC unit and under the carpet. Again I was six months pregnant and they denied my request to put in new carpet around the air conditioning unit. It took about 2 weeks to get that fixed. One morning, on the way to work, everything was fine, when I got home both sides of my sink were filled with smelly stagnant water with pipe debris everywhere. And the dishwasher was filled with stagnant water as well. And my kitchen floor was flooded. They addressed the problem but left the mess for me to clean up. They blamed the issue on me because I hadn’t used my dishwasher in two weeks. A few weeks prior to that my sink was backed up and wouldn’t drain. So they said they needed my towels to clean the mess and then blamed the issue on me for putting green beans in the dish disposal When I moved in they knew I had cats. But my cats are indoor cats and NEVER go outside yet every year I got fleas. After the second year, they refused to spray for fleas even though pest control is included in rent. Not to mention the entire complex is invested with ferrel cats. When I first moved in, the manager pointed out that my front door locks, but there was a gap where my heat and air was escaping so my utility bill was high every month. The problem was never fixed even though I mentioned it several times. I’m a female and when I would take a shower the hot water only lasted for 11 minutes, I know this because I timed it. I called management and they “replaced” it. Yet now my hot water only last 8 minutes tops. And after they replaced it my kitchen smelled like death. The cable wires outside my front apartment door were loose and hanging and my kids tripped over them multiple times scraping their knees, elbows, and faces. This issue was brought up but never fixed. One family parked all four of their cars upfront even though only one car per family was allowed to park upfront. Not To mention, out of the four cars, they only drove one. After many months and making multiple complaints because I had three children, they finally addressed the issue. When I first moved in the handle to the master bedroom was jerry rigged. And now it is completely broken. The door won’t close or lock. I called everyday for an entire week and the manager, Kim, hung up on me. So I called hillsinger management and addressed all the problems I’ve had since moving in and his their response was “if you don’t like it, take your money and move elsewhere.” I told him I was going to call the Hamilton county public health department and the next day I got a 30 day notice to leave the premise. This place is a joke and does not care about their tenants. Those issues I listed aren’t even close to half the problems I’ve had with these people. He also said the loose cables weren’t his problem, it was the cable company’s problem. Not to mention, people come home between midnight and 3 am with their music blaring. There are cigarette buts and garbage everywhere. Also, the rent isn’t the same for everyone. I lived in the basement with no walkout and paid 635. The lady above me with a balcony paid 600. Both units were same size, same beds and same baths. Just don’t live here. Don’t let the cheap rent receive you."

"Whatever you do never move here! It has turned into a complete mess over the past few years. People have moved in who DO NOT supervise their children. Therefore resulting in vehicle damages, building doors always being broken, trash all over the place, and so much running and jumping in the halls outside your home that you'd think there was construction going on in the hall! The man who is supposed to respond to complaints gets the complaints and has never removed the problem tenants after countless complaints with nothing improving. As a result I have spoken to many ppl in the process of looking for a new place to rent. Live somewhere where problems will be addressed and/or removed. Not somewhere that will force you to remove yourself such as this dump. Oh and the roaches in the halls and laundry rooms are another issue. This place is poorly ran and gross. Move on and keep looking so you don't regret it."
