Oak Crossing Apartments

"I would honestly give this apartment no stars, first the office staff never answers call when you need them, they are not open during hours that are listed online, there was mold from our shower on the wall and tub liner. We moved out and nothing was professional at all. They don’t do a walk through at the end, they will charge you a large amount but give you discounts till the debt is paid so if you can’t afford it just wait a few weeks and they will discount the price. They were originally charging us $500 to replace the carpet on the stairs then gave us a 60% discount and it went down to $200, I went out of town and had my mother take the money order bc the online portal was down, she asked them if they could give a receipt and the office girl said we don’t normally do that, so again very unprofessional, so she asked for a copy of the money order and a signature, I have now gotten two calls from debt collectors stating I have not paid the full amount, after reaching out to the office they stated that a new system is being taken over and that they are still haven’t cashed the check. All I can say is pay for somewhere that actually values customers and uses professionalism in everything they do. I would not refer this apartment to anymore I know sadly."

"The maintenance staff are awesome. Added fees are not awesome.. came to terms with those and renewed our lease. Bought by a new company and the new company is charging a percentage of the monthly rate added onto rent for “ convenience” fee of using debit. In other words they don’t want to pay credit card processing fees so they’re trying to get people to use archaic methods of payment in 2024. Sadly, credit card processing fees that every business gets charged by banks also go off from a percentage. In other words I am being charged extra (by a percentage) with no win for the apartment business only inconvenience for me. Take the L on the processing fees. 1408.96 for one bedroom with two cats with an included 42.38 fee for convenience doesn’t make sense to me. But like I said the maintenance staff is amazing!"

"I was interested in the 1 bedroom apartments and Sarah was incredibly helpful with sharing my options and what might work best for me!"

"The apartment aas nasty dirty. Looked like it had not even been cleaned. The paint on the wall looked like a toddler could of done a better job. Base boards had dirt and hair stuck all over. People smoke in their apartment. Came home to weed smell 90% of the time. Move in and move out was very unprofessional. Lack of proof that you received or turned in your keys. Just very disappointed."

"The Overall Apartment is Decent but, there are so many Hidden charges will be posted monthly. When my Water bill came more than 125$ for a 2 Person living apartment with only 21 days stayed in the month. The Apartment staff were least bothered to look into this when complained. There is Valet Trash service 30$ which is mandatory charge which they pick with no proper schedule and when Trash was not picked for One week, When complained about this, Leasing office staff were least bothered saying its not service issue, its a third party company who does the Trash. On top of it there was extra trash charge each month depends on Overall Community trash disposal."
