Best Western Fort Wayne I-69 North

"This is a good hotel. Looks, smells and feels newly renovated. Beds are comfortable. Room clean. Nice and friendly staff. Good variety of breakfast. Pool and fitness open!! I would definitely stay here again. And it's around plenty of stores and close to the highway."

"Stayed with wife and son. Great hospitality throughout two night stay. Even started breakfast 30 minutes earlier than planned, to accommodate several guests who had to leave early. Room was adequate, maybe a little small. Breakfast was solid. Wi-Fi was strong. Good location, with easy access to highway and restaurants."

"Right off the highway and easy to get to. The staff at the front desk was very polite and checked me in quickly. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I did not use the pool but I did walk past it and it looked clean. Clean bathroom and walls. It looked pretty freshly remodeled but I can’t say that for sure. No awful smells and no sticky floors. Really glad I stopped here. Quiet and peaceful place. It was reasonably priced. Also dog friendly (and a small fee unlike other places)."

"2/3 times were great, the other one time of the 3 visits was one of the worst experience by any hotel staff Ive ever experienced. Only reason anything was offered in return was due to rewards. The hotel offered no incidental charge the first two visits. The third visit without being made aware of the cashier tried swiping my card a second for a $50 incidental hold. It's not so much the hold that was frustrating but being lied to as being a boss, and not being charged a nickel the other two nights of the same week that I stayed there. Money was taken for the room I didn't stay in until the next day when I had to call for a manager to get a release number so my bank didn't hold the money for 3+ business days. Again only reason I was reimbursed was due to the best western rewards which is a good rewards program. To this day there has been nothing but a great example for management how not to handle situations that may arise but also did train the entire staff on what the proper incidental fee of $50 on top of the room stay that will be debited instead of held and released upon check out. It is nice hotel and has been Newly renovated. Had this incident not arose I would have spent many nights in this hotel but that was not important. What was important was to not admit mistake by cashier pretending to be a manager. Actual manager however was great minus the fact of not a single comp from the manager was offered. They felt doing the favor of not charging a customer who had associates go against their own policy yet proceeded that it was my fault. Just a horrible case of a bad evening of another person is going to be my take."
