"Said they took my insurance no problem only to get a bill for $700 two months later. Prior to getting a bill I even recommended that my friend go and the same thing happened to them (different insurance than what I had). Such scammers!"

"I don’t normally write bad reviews but this is not okay. I went to dental west group in December 2022 and was advised that they took my insurance. I had a cleaning/x rays done and was told I needed some fillings. I received a quote for what I would owe after what insurance covers. I scheduled my appointment and paid a couple hundred dollars to get my fillings done. Now fast forward to about a month ago and I received a bill for over $1k and it was borderline going to collections. I call the office and Dental West Group tells me they made a mistake and they do NOT take my insurance and this is what I owe them. They admitted they were short staffed in December and that’s why the mistake was made. No one ever called me to tell me what happened and now I’m being sent to collections because I can’t afford the bill. I never would have went here if I knew they didn’t take my insurance. I asked the office to put in writing what happened so I could appeal this with my insurance and they never got back to me. Now I’m paying for a mistake they made and now my credit is going to be ruined. Please own up to YOUR mistake. I’m sorry you were short staffed but I should not have to pay for this or have my credit ruined. Be cautious coming here or you might end up paying for it later. the dentist told me he would talk to his office manager and get back to me and they can’t even bother to call me back."
