"We had a great experience buying a washing machine from Doug at the Avon Home Appliance location. Doug really knew the features on the different washers and helped us select the right one for our needs. The washer was available within a few days which was very important and they provide their own in house service which is also very important if any issues arise. Home Appliance also price matches the big box stores. The main reason we bought our washer here over a big box store was personal service from Doug and their own service department for any issues, they won’t leave you to deal with the manufacturer all on your own. If you have an issue with an appliance from a big box store good luck, you have to deal with the manufacturer first."

"Avoid at all costs. We bought a washer/dryer combo from them and, six month later, the washer is useless. We bought the extended warranty and the repairman has been out SEVEN times over three months, with the washer NEVER working after any of those visits. The warranty company refuses to replace the machine, yet the repairman says it's worthless. We've tried to get help from Home Appliance and they are throwing their hands up. They sold us a worthless appliance AND a worthless warranty. Every time we call Sales, they let it go to voicemail (if the voicemail isn't full...). This place is a laughable cohort of crooks that give used car salesmen a run for their money. A follow up… they gave us a loaner machine and the repair tech came to install it. He didn’t secure the drainage hose and now there’s water in our basement."
