"Do not order exterior doors from Lowe’s. Do yourself a favor and go to a real door company. We ordered our door back in August 2023 and it just got installed last week. Vendor was terrible. We had to go to our city building and sign our own permit. First door came broken. Was finally going to be installed in December and had to get postponed again. Now - Lowes gave us a hard time returning the extra framing materials the sales man ordered because we were ‘past their return window’…even though they were clearly past their installation window. No apologies, no discounts, nothing. Couldn’t get a hold of anyone when I tried to find out why this was taking so long. Worst home improvement project I’ve ever managed - will not use Lowes again for any major home purchase."

"I was at the Avon Ohio Lowes today, and fortunate enough to have "Paul Reising" helping me with lumber (I asked for his last name for this review). He cut my 12' boards, after he picked out a few better ones for me because he realized the ones I picked out were bent a bit.. Then Paul helped me choose the right hardware to secure the corners of what will soon be my raised garden. We talked the entire time and I got the feeling he was a really good human. Solid guy, and big help to me this afternoon... Makes me want to come back to Lowes vs other similar stores."
