Goodwill

"This is the worst goodwill in North East OH. You'd think they'd be nice since the area they are in but they're horrible. The employees are constantly kicking people out of the store prior to closing. They close at 8 pm yet prior to 7:50 they are making people come to the registers and turned the lights out at 7:55 pm. I asked the employee are you not open until 8 (I was only looking did not have anything I was buying) and her response was yes but we close the registers 5 min early to have time to close. Is your time to close not after the store closes!? No customer service and apparently close at 7:50 not 8 pm! It's bad enough the stuff there is falling apart and dirty half the time anymore and over priced but now you can't even shop bc the employees want to go home. DO better goodwill!"

"Was in this store today and was shocked to see they had a few pairs of Jordan's in their display case. I asked to look them and the price. They were all priced well over what you can buy them for on ebay, grailed or stockx. However the best part is they were all fake. Like the worst knock offs I've ever seen! I didn't bother to mention it because the clerks said to me they knew they were over priced. Oh well, I'll never go to this goodwill again."

"I found a pristine grandfather clock for an amazing price as well as an antique hutch with no flaws so when it comes time to load it in my truck I insisted I do it myself so the items don’t get damaged but goofball 1 and goofball 2 decide they wanted to load it anyway… first they slide the grandfather clock in fine no big deal right… WRONG… they proceed to put it on its side and and slide it around. What happens, SCRATCHED… so I flip it back down on its back so no more damage is done, but it’s only just begun they go to put the 2 piece hutch in and get one of the legs stuck in the gap between the bed and the tailgate. Not knowing which way to turn the thing they almost proceed to snap the leg so of course I had to take over. Just when I thought it was over they load the second piece of the hutch into the bed and before you know it there’s a 7 inch DEEP scratch that cut into the wood on the side of the grandfather clock, just my luck… call me what you want but I’m not gonna pay over $200 just for all my stuff to get damaged when it could have been avoided in the beginning. I’m not mad I’m just very disappointed"

"Nice Goodwill shop in the Avon area. Very easy to locate and plenty of parking available. The store was clean and well organized. The employees were very pleasant and friendly to interact with. They offer clothing of all sizes, men’s, women’s, and children’s. Shoes, knick knacks, and accessories galore. They had average Goodwill prices on items and they do offer a student or Buckeye card discount for those that have them. The store itself is handicap accessible but I do not know if the restrooms are. I frequent Goodwill stores looking for vintage or interesting items and found this one to be a nice store that we will return to. Great place to just wander around checking out items when you are wasting time waiting on someone."
