"NOT PET FRIENDLY! I LIKE DOGS MORE THAN I LIKE THE LOWE'S IN STRONGSVILLE I am a Lowe's customer for 20+ years. I shop at Lowe's more often than other home improvement stores. I shopped at the Strongsville Lowe's for the first time yesterday as I recently purchased a home in the area. My experience was disheartening and has led me to the Home Depot directly next door for future purchases of materials/supplies. As I entered the store on a Friday afternoon, nearest the paint department, I faintly heard yelping. The sound grew louder as I walked toward the other end of the store and approached the tool world. As, I continued in the direction of the cries, I saw a German Shepard puppy being mishandled. The puppy whimpered as it submitted on the slab concrete near a stack of drywall in the middle of aisle 16. I immediately brought my concern to an employee and they responded, "I'm really not supposed to say anything but that's a dog trainer that brings puppies here all the time. We don't like the way the puppies are treated either, but we can't ask them to leave because this is a pet friendly store." I replied, "There is nothing friendly about the way that puppy is being treated." The employee agreed. It is evident that delivering the best home improvement shopping experience to the community they serve is not the focus/priority at this store. If the inappropriate treatment of animals is permitted and is a representation of the Strongsville Lowe's, they have lost a customer."

"Out of every big box hardware store this is my go to when I’m looking for specific things. I do even live close to this Lowe’s but The store is always clean, everything is always stocked and if it isn’t there’s 5000 employees always willing to help."

"Have had relatively good experiences at this Lowe's location since moving to the area. I think they, like most retail, are challenged by staffing issues and this can lead to some frustrations. Trying to find help at some times in the day can be frustrating. I tend to rely on the app to help me locate items in store when possible. Checking out yesterday, there were only self checkout and no staffed registers. I was buying some small items but had I had a large cart, this can be annoying."

"Great selection and prices on all your hardware, lumber, electrical, plumbing, paint and seasonal lawn care/yard needs. Staff is always very helpful, courteous and professional. Plenty of free parking, handicapped parking too."

"They have a lot of very nice items for any home improvement project. Their prices might be a little higher than other big box hardware stores, but in my opinion, they have a nice selection of items."
