"The covered bridge creek and park needs a lot of TLC. I’ve emailed several times to have the creek addressed and it still has not been resolved. The smell is starting to escalate and the high temps aren’t even here. I’ll make sure to vote “no” for parks on the next ballet. Money given from us home owners isn’t being utilized."
"This is the training facility for CPD. It's also where the city water wells are. The track is well maintained, about .25 miles around. The West Branch trailhead is here. 3/4mi to the 38th St NW crossing at the railroad, and 4mi to President Mckinley's tomb (there's a gas station at 2 miles, water etc). The park is a bit rundown, it used to be ball fields. No kid-friendly equipment, very limited parking, NO RESTROOMS, and no actual covered bridge. It borders a quiet apartment complex on one side and a cemetery on the other (it's noisy around Midnight). The local tornado siren is here, so Mondays at noon..."
