"I visited Stephanie here for a hair cut. She’s friendly and calm, as a person who is neurodivergent, salon settings can be hard for me. Stephanie creates a safe and comfortable space, it’s clear she understand her clients needs, for their hair and personal experience. I would recommend Stephanie to anyone! Especially someone who may struggle with the salon experience. Stephanie gave me an experience I will return for."

"I enjoyed the customer service and hospitality I received from my nail tech. It was other employees who weren’t as friendly and didn’t display exemplary behavior. As an African American woman, I never felt welcomed at this salon by other employees other than by my nail technician. There was one nail technician who sat by the hallway who would NEVER speak to me whenever I came in and I spoke directly to her. Whenever I would catch her looking my way, she would have a snarl like expression on her face that was very unwelcoming and very unappealing to her. There was another nail tech who sat just as you walked in the room who would was also unfriendly and sometimes loud and unprofessional. I actually witnessed her “shushing” another employee AFTER she had just been being loud talking about her young children. I was very disappointed in this unprofessional behavior she displayed. She often spoke of her unruly children and even spoke very vulgar about her separation from her husband. While I understand life happens, I believe there’s a time and place to have these discussions and a nail spa is certainly not the place for it especially in such a loud and unprofessional manner. I was quite relieved and happy when I learned my nail tech was no longer at this nail salon because I will never patronize a business that didn’t make me feel comfortable or welcomed again!"

"My favorite, go-to salon! I recommend this place to everyone! I’ve been around to my fair share of salons and seen the different styles, atmosphere, owners, etc. And this one beats them all! From the beautiful, simple and elegant design, to the friendly staff that makes you feel like family, to the wonderful and charming owners! I’ve also taken my daughter at the age of 2 for a girls day and they treated her like such a princess! Make an appointment and see for yourself!"

"I wouldn't say this is the most welcoming place if you are looking for diversity. The first time I arrived to get my nails done I stood at the front desk for 10 min and was never acknowledged until someone in the back was leaving and had no choice but to acknowledge me. The ONLY reason I patronized the place is because of Stephanie the dip diva. She is awesome at her craft with a wonderful spirit. She always takes her time on my nails and is very clean and personable. Unfortunately, she is no longer employed there and I believe it is due to her being the only person in the salon to have a more diverse clientele. It's sad because there are other clients that have received the same vibe from other client's in the establishment as well as some of the staff . I'm going to follow The Dip Diva wherever she goes! I appreciate her making me feel comfortable in a environment that is not very welcoming."
