"Fun fact about Lowes... you order an appliance with them and they will first off lie about having that appliance in stock promising to deliver in the next couple of days. "You will get a phone call", they promise. NOPE. You will call them. They will tell you that they actually don't have it in stock and that it is on you to keep calling and checking if they have it yet. Then finally the day has arrived for installation and then you receive a phone call one hour before your appointed time and guess what? No appliance. You will be rescheduled. One month after giving them my money and no appliance to be seen. Expect this kind of service."

"Not enough notice for unavailable deliveries and will screw you on gifts. Was called less than 24 hours before delivery was scheduled to arrive. NO time to react/get alternative gift."

"I went to Lowe’s about a week ago and purchased a washer and dryer. The gentlemen specific to that area were super helpful, a little aggressive on the upsell, but friendly and helpful nonetheless. Because I purchased the set and met a minimum, free delivery and installation were included so I opted for that. Two days later, the set was delivered. I was at work, but my husband works from home so he accepted the delivery. The ‘professionals’ that delivered the set couldn’t hook it up. 1. The dryer hose wouldn’t fit, we needed a ‘slinkier’ one. 2. The washer drain pipe from the washer wouldn’t fit our drain to the house, we needed an ‘adapter.’ 3. Our dryer wouldn’t plug in because the cord and outlet were different. They didn’t tell us about that because we had an adapter, but later found out the installation ‘’professionals’ took the adapter with them. (Our dryer was not hauled away but left behind, no adapter) I went back to Lowe’s and explained the issues to the same people we bought the dryer from and their response was ‘never heard of that.’ Really? Because they were very quick to sell me in a set, but I’m the only person, ever to have this issue? I was told they didn’t know anything about a ‘slinkier’ hose or an adapter for the washer drain pipe. I figured the adapter out on my own without asking after being looked at like an idiot. The friendly, helpful demeanor was gone and I was on my own. My husband went back to ask for help and got an even worse respond. Dismissive and just flat out rude. I went to Ace Hardware and they were able to help with the plug adapter, dryer hose, and drain hose. They were so sweet and genuine. I would have bought a washer and dryer from them if they sold them, even if I would have paid more! Being in the costumer service industry myself, I’m hate leaving bad reviews or worse, making people feel small. Lowe’s and their team clearly doesn’t care about either."
