"Store consistently struggles with staffing front end and barely keeps any check-out lanes open during peek hours. I don't like to leave negative reviews, but almost every single time I have gone to this Kroger over the past few months, I have had a bad experience. I don't fault the employees working here as they're doing their best; it's a problem with management continuing to run such thin shifts, a problem other stores I have been to simply do not have. For the past few months, I've felt like I have had to routinely bag my own groceries no matter what time of day I'm shopping. In isolation, this isn't a big deal, or if it only happened once in awhile, but it's becoming a genuine hindrance if every customer has to bag their own groceries. No matter how busy the store is, management seems content to keep only 2-3 lanes open that are not self-checkout and they can't even keep two people staffed on a lane. I've been going to this Kroger for at least 3-4 years and never noticed this being as much of a problem until recently. I used to work in a grocery store several years ago, and while staffing might be related to an inability to hire and retain workers, I also know from experience that management will consistently try to keep as thin a crew as possible to save money, to the detriment of employees and customers. If a customer has to wait 20-30 minutes to checkout, it really does not matter to corporate as long as they're hitting their bottom line. I also remember that management will typically have timers for customers going in and out of checkout as a metric for improvement, and I can only imagine that nobody at Cornerstone Kroger pays attention to it. The last time I saw members of the management team on the floor at this store, they were busy directing employees to clean the glass surfaces of the coolers because they had an inspection coming up. I wish they paid nearly as much attention to the front end of the store which is far more critical to shoppers. I also once made the mistake of shopping after 8:30 pm on a Friday and not a single check-out lane was open, only self-checkout. The store just so happened to get an influx of high schoolers from a nearby event which led to a giant crowd forming around the front of the store, and the self check-out registers consistently kept breaking. There was only one poor employee covering the front of the store and there had to be at least 30 customers waiting in line for at least an hour waiting to checkout. From the moment I started scanning to the moment I was able to finish pushing my cart out of the store, it must have taken 40 minutes with the register breaking no less than 5 times. Easily one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a grocery store, and I felt so bad for the sole employee that had to keep running back and forth between registers trying to fix them. Completely unacceptable, and I could tell a lot of the customers around me were similarly frustrated."

"Please stop refrigerating apples in online pickup orders. It makes them taste bad. Also, please stop saying you’re out of stock for online pickup orders. We understand the warehouse may be out of stock, but the store rarely is. Can’t you just fill the missing item when the bags from the warehouse hit the store?"

"Every time I go to a place and look at the Hot Wheels if they are messed up I try to stack them back up very neatly and respectful. I was in the Kroger's looking at Hot Wheels the manager walked by and wanted to argue with me about how I don't care if you look the hot wheels just put them back the way they was. I said what are you talking about I just got here, he wanted to argue with me saying I just come by 45 minutes ago and they wasn't like that, put them back the way they was. If he was managing right and would watch the cameras and see that the kids was throwing Hot Wheels in the aisle maybe that's who messed them up ? I just got there and started looking wasn't there 5-10 minutes tops the place was already scattered Hot Wheels everywhere I didn't even want to look at them because they was so messed up I didn't feel like digging through them but started looking and the bald head manager come by and wanted to argue with me about how I messed them up, very rude and will not be returning"

"I LOVE this Kroger! This is my favorite Kroger! The Store itself is beautiful and well-decorated. I haven’t had to have many interactions with the Staff, but one deli employee I had, ( I’m pretty sure his name was Tom) Was very kind and cut the meat very well. I love going here on Friday Nights. There is a live band playing at the bar and It’s so fun and pleasant to hear while shopping. They have a ton of products and great Seasonal decorations. I love this store and will go here for all of my grocery shopping. GodBless and have an amazing day!"
