"I went in to Fremont athletic supply on a warm august evening. I spoke with Juan about the fact I was dreading going to work a high school football game that evening. Juan asked why I was dreading it. I informed him that the team did not have a good chance of winning that night. Juan didn’t miss a beat and printed me up a custom shirt for that nights game that basically said that we would pull off one of the greatest upsets in OHSAA history that night. Fast forward a few hours, I show the boys at the high school the shirt. This caused an uproar within the locker room and I feel made those boys believe they were going to win that night. Long story short, they lost 45-0. That does not change the fact that Fremont Athletic supply has great customer service and affordable high quality products. Juan Vela taught me a lesson that day. He taught me to always be positive and to never doubt myself even when all the odds are stacked against me."
