"I recently stayed at the hotel listed below. Had a poor experience from the start. It was nothing short of a total disaster. I arrived early and the rooms were not ready until after 3pm when they were supposed to be. The room was loud, there was banging on the ceiling. Was right next to the fitness center and it was so loud, banging on the wall. I asked nicely to be moved to a different room that was quieter, and they refused to move me. The manager was very rude and disrespectful. I originally booked for 2 night, and then needed to leave after 1 night. I was told Friday night that I could get a refund back for the night lost. Then I was refused the refund. I expected better. I was told the General Manager was going to call me, but never called. I would be happy to delete this review if you make this right and call me."

"I stayed at this hotel for 5 days and was very impressed. I have stayed at a Hampton inn a long time ago and did not have a good experience, but this time was way different. I was first greeted by the Manager on duty at the front desk and from the start, she was very hospitable and welcoming. Anything we needed, she did her best to make it happen. The room was very clean and comforting. The breakfast was delicious and lobby was nice. Also loved the location, lot's of things to do and places to eat. I will definitely be staying here again."

"It was a horrible trip that kept getting worse... I made reservations a while back via the company website (not third party) to avoid any issues. I checked in when we were a few hours away via the app. We arrived around 3:30 to no room ready. We were told there were multiple people ahead of us. We had be at a sporting event banquet quickly, so this was not a good start. I waited for a bit and then asked if there was another option. We were given a room with a pullout couch (instead of two queens). The heat was broken (it was freezing in there) and the lights didn't work. When my husband asked the front desk, we were told she "had other things going on and we would need to wait". We left for a few hours to come back to no fixes. We then had to pack our stuff up and move to yet another room (just a king bed). We needed to get a bed for our daughter. After all of this, I was only compensated $20 from my original total.... Ridiculous and won't be back."

"We stated the night previous at a Ramada in Statesville NC. It was very clean and had excellent service. They also gave you a good breakfast with your room. It was $106 for a king size bed. The room and bathroom were clean, nicely decorated and spacious. For the same room (with king size bed), this Hampton had smaller rooms- especially their tiny bathroom-and gave you no free breakfast. Their price was $170 for the room."
