Cove Motel

"This place got new managers awhile back and they have been doing a wonderful job. Remodeled the rooms got a great housekeeper and maintenance man and the new manager has cleared out all the trashy people so now it is "Family friendly" . The new manager has made this a nicer and safer place to stay. So, anyone who says it isn't nice or family friendly has not been here since the new managers took over. Please rent here again and see what a huge differences the new manager has made. I would not stay at any other place because the manager is nice and very good at his job and the folks in the rooms next to me are nice and friendly. The reputation of this place was really negative, but since the new manager took over/ and "cleaned up the TRASH" there's hardly any trouble around the motel any more. So, YAY to the manager for turning this place around and YAY to him for hiring a great maintenance man and helps with security and YAY for him hiring a wonderful housekeeper who does a great job on the rooms and also how she helps the renters. This manager, maintenance man and housekeeper all have very tough jobs-but luckily they do their jobs really well. I liked staying there and was treated with respect, kindness and got a nice clean room. I'm thankful to the Cove motel and it's staff. It was so different than the last time I stayed there. Flat screen TV's on the wall, hardwood floors, and when I had a problem with the light, it was fixed within ten minutes or so when I told the manager. What more can a person expect from an independently owned motel with very reasonable rates compared to the franchised motels around here. I gave it five stars today/but I probably would of given it less stars the last time I stayed there. So remarkable how it has changed due to a new manager and his staff. Thanks Cove motel and its staff, also. Bye for now Gave it the five stars not for the building itself but also for the staff members."

"Its the last motel in Hamilton period. It has a lot of historical value and I personally have a lot of history there period, some good some bad but the good outweighs the bad 4 me. They did an amazing job remodeling it a few years ago and its actually pretty decent there now. It's got a bad reputation over the years but it all depends on how you are acting and what you are doing as to whether or not you would get pulled over and or arrested there. Common sense people."

"They have remodeled and they are under new management. Its cleaned up a lot. You don't see people hanging out all over the parking lot and you don't constantly see the police or paramedics there like you use to. That's a very big plus. There is never any vacant rooms which is proof of how much better it has gotten."

"I wish I could give 0 stars. The motel is nasty and the crack heads there are always fighting. There's a fight almost everyday. There was even a stabbing that happened because the house keeper started it over her $25 missing. The housekeeper is completely rude. She kept barging into my room. You can smell them doing crack. I even let the front desk know and they didn't care. There's still a lot of drug activity and prosituting going on. These drug addicts are beggars. They are always bumming for a ride. On top of that, your doors are constantly being knock. There's no peace here and all I wanted was peace but couldn't even get that. Oh yeah! This place is not kid friendly at all. So if you're a single mom with kids I most definitely wouldn't recommend you here. Especially since there's roaches and bed bugs in the room!"

"Super small rooms. There's holes in the walls and there's rats here. Only stayed here because we had no other option. The owners daughter is very rude. Thank God there's no bedbugs here. The water is hot. The shower works great. Lots of druggies here. Cops are always here and hang out in parking lot. Beds are somewhat comfy. And the electric messes up if you plug in anything to cook."
