"I needed 5 fillings from an IN NETWORK provider and SDC would hardly cover anything. I had to pay $1000 out of pocket because apparently they only cover silver fillings?? Who even does silver fillings anymore? AT LEAST cover the cost difference between silver and white fillings. There is no point in me even having dental insurance if you won’t even cover a basic filling. What a JOKE of an insurance company!!!"

"SDC is the best Dental insurance company! All of the staff is polite and strives to provide the most accurate answers to our questions. Sheryl Grove is one of the best examples of superior customer service. Never let Sheryl leave SDC. She is a true asset to your company!"

"spoke with rep who told me they only pay for one x-ray every 3 years and we had no knowledge of that. We never received benefit info just cards. When I requested the benefit info to be mailed they did not want to mail it. I was told to go online and print it off. I wanted it mailed to me."

"Claims take at least 2-3 months to process. This is just the norm. While it's frustrating, it's occasionally understandable in circumstances with decreased staffing. My largest complaint is that when I call to follow up on these claims (because they are not processed in a timely fashion), I am told by the reps that they can only assist with 3 patients on one call. Then they start you over in a queue and you wait on hold until someone else answers and you start all over. This is terrible customer service!"

"My wife had dental work done overseas this year, and a couple of years ago. We made an in person visit both times to Superior Dental Care. The supervisor that assisted us both times was Sheryl Grove. She is extremely friendly and helpful. We showed her or paperwork from the overseas dentist. She just had a couple things to clarify and she said she will complete the rest of the necessary paperwork! It's difficult these days to find someone such a value to their company! Thanks again Sheryl!"
