The Mind/Body Institute, located at 15644 Madison Avenue in Lakewood, Ohio, is a health institution that offers a compassionate and supportive approach to mental health. We specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), which is considered the Gold Star Standard for trauma therapy and more. EMDR Therapy can help you achieve your mental health goals in a shorter amount of time.

In addition to therapy services, we offer EMDRIA approved consultation services for therapists seeking EMDR certification. We also provide consultation services for clinicians who have completed EMDR training but are not seeking certification.

Our approach focuses on "what's happened to you" rather than "what's wrong with you," incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Therapy, and Parts Work. Through a Trauma Informed Lens, we help you see yourself in a new light, promoting acceptance and empowerment.

The Mind/Body Institute also offers educational seminars for professionals, including practitioners, teachers, first responders, and organizations. Topics covered include trauma, attachment (ACES), neuroscience, and addictions.

If you are planning a retreat or seminar, we can provide breakout sessions that incorporate EMDR Therapy, Person Centered Mindfulness and Relaxation, Psychoeducation, and more. We offer both in-person and virtual appointments throughout Ohio.
