"Dr. Ghassemi removed a large ganglion cyst from my left foot in mid-December 2023. She was beyond impressive from my first visit, through surgery, and in three follow up visits on successive Fridays following the procedure. She was a true professional throughout the whole process. Caring, thorough, patient, informative, a great listener, understanding, accommodating, and most importantly - a very talented surgeon. She explained the entire process to me and made me feel comfortable. She was honest and upfront about the low percentage, but possible complications and challenges given the size of what she had to remove. I can be a tough critic regarding bedside manner, and Dr. Ghassemi exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend her. This area is lucky to have her."

"Dr Ghassemi treated me with no respect at all. She didn't even want to answer basic questions. I waited 2 months for a pair of orthopedic inserts that were custom made, and when I went to use them they wouldn't even fit in my shoes and we're very uncomfortable. I had to ask for a referral for physical therapy. Totally pathetic. If you want a run around and a condescending doctor then go to the foot and ankle clinic and waste your time."

"I hope my review doesn't cause everyone to make it hard for me to book an appointment! I recently moved to Lakewood in October and found out that I had an issue with my foot. My regular MD scared me to death and I wanted a second opinion and treatment with a podiatrist. I found the Foot & Ankle Clinic. Their kind staff got me in fairly soon. I saw Dr. Michelle Haldeman. I just want to say that she is AWESOME!! She immediately put my worries at ease, cared for me with compassion and kindness and I am very grateful. I can't say enough about this practice and Dr. Haldeman. I have not seen Dr. Kovach but she said hello to me in the hallway and was super nice! :-) So, I will be going back, and look forward to checking in with Dr. Haldeman soon. She's great! The staff is kind and courteous. Overall great practice!"
